Multi-pass FX compositing:- lucky enough to be the on-set supervisor, & the Lead Compositor putting it all together while shooting a “kit of parts” with a skilled Martial Arts actor.

“Add Snow” they said, so we did. The boy, bike & bear were rotoscoped off, the scene was camera tracked, ground & basic buildings built from cards, & random snow pics stuck on the ground & tire treads, all in Nuke.

Object tracking in KeenTools, retiming in Kronos & Silhouette Paint helped Nureyev achieve his famous Buddha stance once again.
